In Person Workshop
San Antonio Tlayacapan
An afternoon 4 hour haiku collage class is the perfect way to launch the new year. Easily jumpstart your creative life in 2026. Create, laugh, engage, make like minded friends.
I began writing haiku and making collages my freshman year in college - a long time ago. After working as a professional photographer for 30 years and then at Apple as a Creative Trainer, I moved to Mexico. I have been in Mexico for 9 years and in that time took painting classes. Eventually I found my voice with Mixed Media. A large part of my pieces are a combination of painting and collage. And now haiku.
A few years ago I started writing haiku again in my journals. Then I added paper pieces and photographs. I discovered that haiku and collage are a perfect combination.
Whether you are a painter, photographer, writer, poet, and/or keep an ongoing journal, the combination of haiku and collage will take your creativity to a new level.
I have taken the last few months off from teaching to improve my health. I now am feeling so much better and am ready to try a class again. I think you will love this experience. The class will be held on my patio garden in San Antonio Tlayacapan. Art supplies are included but feel free to bring anything from home you might want to include.
